Mockup only. Your formulation is developed with our R&D team and is not shown here.
How the private label mockup works
The mockup is a visualization. Not a print-ready label, not a regulatory artwork proof, and not a dieline. You pick an application, a real production profile, a heat level, a format, a monthly volume and your brand name. The tool places your brand on our retail jar so you can see what a shelf presence could look like under your own label.
The formulation is a separate conversation. Our R&D team develops it from a target sample, an ingredient statement, or a written brief. That work is not shown in the mockup and never will be. Clean label by default. No artificial colors, no MSG, no TBHQ, no sodium benzoate. Compliant with FDA Red 3 revocation and California AB 418.
When you send a brief from this page, your selections and contact reach a formulator at FISA Lab. We confirm scope, ship samples in 15 business days, and move approved formulations to production in 5 weeks. If you want physical samples on top of the brief, the confirmation links to the sample request form with your inputs prefilled, or you can go deeper on how private label seasoning manufacturing actually works.
What you can configure
The profiles in the tool are the ones we actually run at the plant. Pastor, Birria, Carnitas, Cochinita Pibil, Adobo, Asado de Puerco, Carne Asada, Chile Limón, Chipotle, Habanero, Cheddar Jalapeño and Chorizo. Not invented options built to fill a dropdown. If your target sits between two of them, that is normal and it is exactly the kind of brief our custom blending team handles every week.
Heat level is a formulation parameter, not a marketing label. Mild, medium and hot map to distinct capsaicin ranges our team adjusts during development. Format lists the three ways we ship the same system: a 16 oz retail jar, a 5 lb foodservice pack, and a 44 lb bulk sack. The retail jar is what the mockup renders. The other two carry the same formulation into different production workflows.
Questions about the tool
- Is the mockup a real product design?
- No. The mockup is a visualization of how your brand could sit on a retail jar. It is not a print-ready label, not a regulatory artwork proof, and not an approval of any specific dieline. Use it to align internally and to open a brief with our team.
- Does FISA Lab's name appear on my label?
- Not on the production label. The mockup carries a small FISA Lab credit at the bottom of the canvas for image attribution when you share it. Your production label is your artwork, printed by your printer under your brand.
- Do I need a formula before using this?
- No. The tool works from a target flavor profile, not from a finished formula. Send us your brief and our R&D team develops the formulation from a target sample, an ingredient statement, or a written spec. Samples ship in 15 business days.
- What happens after I send my brief?
- Your selections and contact land with our team. A formulator reviews the brief, confirms scope, and moves to development. If you also want physical samples, add a shipping address on the sample request form linked from the confirmation.
